Hostal Sol i Sombra began in the 1950s as a small establishment where soldiers stationed at the Port de la Selva air base could eat and stay.
Over time, the building expanded with the purchase of the adjacent property, establishing itself as a culinary landmark in the town. Its signature dish, a traditional skillet, became one of the most memorable in the village.
Today, completely renovated, the hotel boutique maintains the essence of a traditional Costa Brava village inn, but with a contemporary touch and meticulous attention to detail.
